Morecambe staked their claim for a play-off place with a vital victory over Scarborough.
Jim Harvey's side had to come from behind after the Seadogs went ahead via a controversial penalty, but a stunning second-half onslaught from his charges ensured that the Shrimps are now serious contenders to seal a top-five spot.
Harvey was furious after Lee Elam was harshly adjudged to have bundled over Kevin Nicholson in the box to give Neil Redfearn the chance to score his 14th Conference goal of the season.
The disappointment was not to last long however as the Shrimps came out fighting at the bell for the second half.
Michael Twiss was once again the danger man and was just inches away from connecting with Elam's header across goal before being heavily involved in Morecambe's equaliser on 51 minutes.
Morecambe's man-of-the-match, Wayne Curtis, sparked the move with a low cross for Twiss eight yards out. His volley was superbly saved by Leigh Walker but the ball fell neatly for Danny Carlton to hammer home from close range.
Three minutes later it was 2-1. Again Curtis provided the telling cross to the far post, Elam headed downwards and Twiss fired the ball into the roof the net.
Twiss could have then added to his goal tally with two headers that just cleared the crossbar before Morecambe sat back and allowed the visitors to come at them.
Despite the best efforts of Neil Bishop and Redfearn, the Morecambe defence were always on top with Ryan Robinson making just one save from a long-range Bishop effort as the Shrimps clung on to an extremely important three points.
