Morecambe upset the form book as they deservedly won 2-0 at League Two leaders Chesterfield.
Goals in each half from ex-Chesterfield midfielder Kevan Hurst and Danny Carlton secured the visitors' first away victory since early January.
Morecambe had not won in nine games but they stunned the home fans in the 22nd minute when Hurst scored against one of his former clubs.
The midfielder marked his return to the club he had three loan spells with by firing a low 25-yard drive just inside a post in the 22nd minute.
Chesterfield failed to make any sort of impact in the first half and they did not improve after the break when the visitors increased their lead as Carlton hooked a volley from 12 yards for his first goal of the season.
Craig Davies and Scott Boden had late chances for Chesterfield, who failed to score at home for the first time this season.
